File Management
In advanced file management mode, you can manage groups of text or other files (corpus) or database files and you can search across more than one corpus or database file. In File Mode, you will create a corpus from files on the list. In Database Mode, you can create and add a new database file or you can add your existing database file. To switch to Advance File Management Mode, go to Preferences. Under General, change the Corpora Handling Mode to Advanced.
Lemma Handling
Lemma is a base form of a word. For example, a lemma SEE includes see, sees, seeing, saw, and seen. So when you search for a lemma SEE, you will find all the instances of these. But because computers cannot identify whether, for example, report is a verb or a noun, unless a corpus is tagged, it is not very accurate. Still it can show you some tendency. Unfortunately, Casualconc is not a tag-aware program, the use of lemma is very limited. Also this is an experimental implementation. In the future, I hope I can develop this function more.
